France - Regina Trench Cemetery, Grandcourt, Somme



Located 1.5km north-west of Courcelette, in the commune of Grandcourt, this cemetery is accessed via a single track lane, which is not suitable for vehicles.


The original part of the cemetery was made in the winter of 1916-1917, after Courcelette was finally taken by the 4th Canadian Division. It was completed after the Armistice and further contains burials relocated from the battlefields of Courcelette, Grandcourt and Miraumont.


Fifteen men of the 4th CMR lie at rest here.
